This website, velumiaskin.com (the "Site"), is operated by VELUMIA LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("Velumia", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit the Site or join our email list.

We have written this policy to describe what we actually do. The Site is currently in its pre-launch phase: we do not yet sell products, and the only personal information you can submit to us is your email address.

What We Collect

Information you give us. If you join our email list, we collect the email address you provide. If you contact us directly, we collect your email address and whatever information you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically. The Site is hosted on Shopify. Like most websites, Shopify's platform automatically collects certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device information, and essential cookies required for the Site to function and remain secure. How We Use Your Information

We use your email address for one purpose: to send you emails about Velumia, including first access to our launch and updates about the product, through Shopify's built-in email service. If you contact us, we use your information to respond to you. We also rely on the technical information described above to operate and secure the Site and to comply with any legal obligations that apply to us.

What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes. We do not use your information for targeted advertising. The only third party that processes your information is Shopify, acting as our website and email platform, under its own privacy policy and data protection commitments.

If our practices ever change, for example when we begin selling products and need to process orders, payments, and shipping, we will update this policy before those changes take effect.

Your Choices and Rights

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all marketing emails immediately.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Data Retention

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which it is removed from our active mailing list.

Children

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
